We knew it all along... Global warming was a scam. It was and is a scam to control our lives while robbing us with punitive taxes and lowering our standard of living. It has nothing to do with saving the planet but it has everything to do with destroying western civilization.
On 20 November 2009, emails and other documents, apparently originating from with the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia.
If real, these emails contain some quite surprising and even disappointing insights into what has been happening within the climate change scientific establishment. Worryingly this same group of scientists are very influential in terms of economic and social policy formation around the subject of climate change.
This is one of a steady drizzle of events planned to stoke up alarm in the run-up to the UN's major conference on climate change in Copenhagen next December. But one of the world's leading experts on polar bears has been told to stay away from this week's meeting, specifically because his views on global warming do not accord with those of the rest of the group.
Dr Mitchell Taylor has been researching the status and management of polar bears in Canada and around the Arctic Circle for 30 years, as both an academic and a government employee. More than once since 2006 he has made headlines by insisting that polar bear numbers, far from decreasing, are much higher than they were 30 years ago. Of the 19 different bear populations, almost all are increasing or at optimum levels, only two have for local reasons modestly declined.
Dr Taylor agrees that the Arctic has been warming over the last 30 years. But he ascribes this not to rising levels of CO2 – as is dictated by the computer models of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and believed by his PBSG colleagues – but to currents bringing warm water into the Arctic from the Pacific and the effect of winds blowing in from the Bering Sea.
He has also observed, however, how the melting of Arctic ice, supposedly threatening the survival of the bears, has rocketed to the top of the warmists' agenda as their most iconic single cause. The famous photograph of two bears standing forlornly on a melting iceberg was produced thousands of times by Al Gore, the WWF and others as an emblem of how the bears faced extinction – until last year the photographer, Amanda Byrd, revealed that the bears, just off the Alaska coast, were in no danger. Her picture had nothing to do with global warming and was only taken because the wind-sculpted ice they were standing on made such a striking image.
The liberal democRAT donkey-holes who brayed about "rushing to war", even though it took over a year and countless debates and resolutions, have rammed through the most radical leftist, communist agenda in the history of this nation within a six month period. They did this by passing bills nobody read. heck, now we found out these jack asses are voting on bills that are not even written. They don't want American people to know what they are doing.
Those idiots will find out what happens to the environment when people get poorer. They want to impoverish us by artificially increasing the cost of energy which will increase the price of all the goods and services. There is a reason poor countries have the worst environment because people have to take care of themselves first. That is what is going to happen when these utopian ideas implemented here.

If a national health plan was approved and your family participated, and, President Obama, if your wife or your doctor became seriously ill, and things were not going well, and the plan physicians told you they were doing everything that reasonably could be done, and you sought out opinions from some medical leaders and major centers, and they said there's another option that you should -- should pursue, but it was not covered in the plan, would you potentially sacrifice the health of your family for the greater good of insuring millions? Or would you do everything you possibly could as a father and husband to get the best health care and outcome for your family?
Obama could have said "Doctor, ObamaCare is going to be the very best health care for my family and millions of Americans." It would have been a baloney but the guy could not even bring himself to say it.
What did he say? Nothing. He avoided giving a direct answer but it was clear that he would seek the best health care for his family even if it is outside of ObamaCare plan. But the way he answered the question also shows that he never ever considered ObamaCare being applied to him and his family.
You see folks, when liberal elites like Obama talk about "public option" or anything starts with the word "public", they mean the stupid ignorant masses. They don't consider themselves in that group of people they call "public". So when they come up with these policies, plans, rules, regulations and laws they always keep themselves exempt.
Barack Hussein Obama will not send his kids to a "PUBLIC" school. Do you think he will keep his family in a "PUBLIC" health care system? Barack Hussein Obama and liberal elites see anything "public" beneath themselves.
You can see this in countries that have "public" health care. We all know that the wealthy come here to the U.S. to get their health care. They have the means to escape the rationing of health care. Guess who else from these countries come to the U.S. when they need a major surgery or any other critical treatment? Yes, you guessed it right: Politicians and bureaucrats. Very same people who came up with the "public" health care scheme that kills their own people. To add insult to injury, they are able to escape the "public" rationing system they created by using the public's money. Yep, tax-payers pay for these politicians and bureaucrats' treatments in the U.S. So don't expect to see Obama and liberal politicians getting in line to get their ration of treatments when they are sick. They will either get in front of the line, making you wait longer or they will have their own special, private health care separate from the "public" rationing system.
This is true for everything these liberal democRAT elites do. They just passed a monstrosity of a bill called cap-and-trade that will only help them get rich. You will end up paying higher taxes, higher utility bills, higher prices for food and everything you buy. You will be forced to lower your living standards. You will end up living in a smaller house, driving a smaller, unsafe car. You will not be able to travel as much as you can. These liberal elites will force you to go back to the 19th century. What about them? The champions of environment, saviours of the earth, al GOREs, Thomas Friedmans, movie stars, TV execs, big business people and people who run these enviro-wacko organiztions; do you think they will lower their standards of living? You wish! They will still live in their big mansions, use their private jets and SUVs. Don't worry, while they have 100s if not 1000s times bigger carbon footprint than yours, they will be buying carbon offsets to help the planet. Since you can afford to buy these offsets, you are doomed to liven in your shit as the rest of the "public" does. Don't ask much about where that "carbon offset" money is going either... It will end up in the funds managed and owned by the same elites who also will be making carbon calculations.
If you want to have a better life for yourself and your family in an elitist liberal democRAT controlled society, better get yourself out of that group called "public" if you can.

The plan calls for a reduction of carbon emissions of 20 percent by 2020 using carbon trading system and requires utilities to purchase 25 percent of their energy from renewable fuel sources by 2025. By 2050, the lawmakers want to reduce U.S. carbon emissions by 83 percent.

We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.
There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.

10. Why is the Petition Project necessary?
In December 1997, then U. S. Vice-President Al Gore participated in a meeting in Kyoto, Japan during which he signed a treaty to ration world energy production based upon fear of human-caused global warming. This treaty was not, however, presented to the United States Senate for ratification.
Since before that Kyoto meeting and continuing to the present day, Mr. Gore and his supporters at the United Nations and elsewhere have claimed that the "science is settled" – that an overwhelming "consensus" of scientists agrees with the hypothesis of human-caused global warming, with only a handful of skeptical scientists in disagreement.
Moreover, for more than 10 years these proponents of world energy rationing have consistently argued that, in view of this claimed scientific "consensus," no further discussion of the science involved in this issue is warranted before legislative action is taken to heavily tax, regulate, and ration hydrocarbon energy.
Since, however, these claims were not successful in convincing the United States government to initiate energy rationing, the United Nations has held a series of international meetings attended by a central group of about 600 scientists, some additional scientists outside of this group, and a large number of political and bureaucratic representatives – approximately 2,000 in all. The United Nations has also hosted larger meetings, including many non-scientist participants from environmental, business, and political organizations.
During and after each of these meetings, there have been further publicity campaigns claiming that the "science is settled" – that the "consensus" of scientists in favor of the hypothesis of human-caused global warming is so overwhelming that further examination of the science is unnecessary.
Realizing, from discussions with their scientific colleagues, that this claimed "consensus" does not exist, a group of scientists initiated the Petition Project in early 1998. Thousands of signatures were gathered in a campaign during 1998-1999. Between 1999 and 2007, the list of petition signatories grew gradually, without a special campaign. Between October 2007 and March 2008, a new campaign for signatures was initiated. The majority of the current listed signatories signed or re-signed the petition after October 2007. The original review article that accompanied the petition effort in 1998-1999 was replaced in October 2007 with a new review incorporating the research literature up to that date.
The renewed petition campaign in 2007 was prompted by an escalation of the claims of "consensus," release of the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" by Mr. Al Gore, and related events. Mr. Gore's movie, asserting a "consensus" and "settled science" in agreement about human-caused global warming, conveyed the claims about human-caused global warming to ordinary movie goers and to public school children, to whom the film was widely distributed. Unfortunately, Mr. Gore's movie contains many very serious incorrect claims, which no informed, honest scientist could endorse.
The campaign to severely ration hydrocarbon energy technology has now been markedly expanded. In the course of this campaign, many scientifically invalid claims about impending climate emergencies are being made. Simultaneously, proposed political actions to severely reduce hydrocarbon use now threaten the prosperity of Americans and the very existence of hundreds of millions of people in poorer countries.
As Professor Seitz states, in his Petition Project letter which speaks of this impending threat to all humanity, "It is especially important for America to hear from its citizens who have the training necessary to evaluate the relevant data and offer sound advice."
The Petition Project is a means by which those citizens are offering that advice.
People like Gore and President Hussein could not care less about the science.
Former Vice President Al Gore repeated his message that climate change is a planetary emergency at the WSJ’s Eco:nomics conference in California. The Nobel-prize winner declined to take any questions from reporters, but he did receive a couple of challenges from attendees, including Bjorn Lomborg. But don’t expect Mr. Gore to debate the merits of how best to tackle climate change anytime soon.
Mr. Gore stuck to his prepared script about the urgency of taking action to curb global greenhouse-gas emissions, down to well-worn phrases he trots out at conferences across the country: America is at “a political tipping point†on climate change, and even if Washington has failed to address the energy challenge in the last 35 years, “political will is a renewable resource.â€
But he was challenged by Mr. Lomborg, the Danish skeptical environmentalist who thinks the world would be better off spending more money on health and education issues than curbing carbon emissions.
“I don’t mean to corner you, or maybe I do mean to corner you, but would you be willing to have a debate with me on that point?†asked the polo-shirt wearing Dane.
“I want to be polite to you,†Mr. Gore responded. But, no. “The scientific community has gone through this chapter and verse. We have long since passed the time when we should pretend this is a ‘on the one hand, on the other hand’ issue,†he said. “It’s not a matter of theory or conjecture, for goodness sake,†he added.

Among the eight members named Friday to the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry and the 10 senior policy aides who will assist them in their work, two own American models.
So the un-American administration's task force to save the American auto industry has members who prefer un-American cars. Any surprises there? Folks, these are the self-proclaimed smart people who will decide the future of American auto industry. Forget that... These people are going to make decisions that will profoundly affect how you and I will live in the future. Look at them:
At least two task force members don't own a car, and there are still two open slots on the 10-member panel that will be filled by the secretaries of labor and commerce, who have not yet been appointed.
Steve Rattner, the managing partner of a $6 billion New York hedge fund who will lead the Treasury Department's auto efforts, has three imports and one domestic vehicle.
He owns a 2008 Lexus LS 460 sedan, a 2007 Audi S4 convertible, a 2006 Mercedes-Benz R350 sport-utility vehicle and a 2005 Lincoln Town Car, according to public records.
The co-chairs of the task force -- Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner and White House National Economic Council Director Lawrence Summers -- both own foreign automobiles.
Geithner owns a 2008 Acura TSX, registered in New York. He once owned a 1999 Honda Accord and a 2002 Acura MDX, according to public records.
Geithner is the president's designee for purposes of enforcing loan agreements with GM and Chrysler and must approve or reject any proposed transactions by either company that would cost $100 million or more.
His maternal grandfather, Charles Moore, was a vice president at Ford Motor Co. from 1952-63, according to Peter Geithner, the secretary's father. But Geithner wasn't very interested in cars growing up -- in part because he graduated from high school in Asia, his father said.
Summers owns a 1995 Mazda Protege that's registered in Massachusetts. He previously owned a 1996 Ford Taurus GL.
What other task force members drive:
• Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag owns a 2008 Honda Odyssey and a 2004 Volvo S60. He previously owned a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 1982 Datsun.
• Carol Browner, the White House climate czar, said earlier this month at the Washington Auto Show that she doesn't own an automobile. Public records show she once owned a 1999 Saab 9-5 SE.
• Energy Secretary Steven Chu doesn't own a car, his wife, Jean Fetter, said in a telephone interview on Sunday. Cabinet officials are typically transported to and from work by security officials in government vehicles.
• Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson owns a 2008 Toyota Prius and a Honda Odyssey minivan, she said Sunday. "It's great," she said of her Prius.
• Vehicle information was not available for Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood or Christine Romer, head of the Council of Economic Advisers.
There are people on this task force who do not own a car and proud of it. If you live in anywhere in the fly-over country you damn well know that car equals freedom. These despicable elites are chauffeured in their limos and they just could not get why we do not like mass-transit.
