"For the past couple of months, I've been reading up on the Clinton/Soros connection into the wee hours of every night. Ever since George Soros slipped through the backdoor to American political power at the tawdry invitation of Bill and Hillary Clinton, he has carpet-bagged his way to the Democrat Party inner circle and has become the "biggest political fat cat of all time." With more than $7 billion in his little Hungarian carpetbag, he thinks he can buy the Presidency for Hillary Clinton and get back into the throne-room of worldly hegemony -- the Oval Office."

Have you noticed how the lib-RATs are using the term "Climate Change" rather than "Global Warming"? They finally figured out that "Global Warming" is a tough sell when it is cold outside and the term "Climate Change" covers pretty much everything. So no matter what the weather is they can still blame it on human beings, especially the most civilized ones. The truth is the bullshit is bullshit no matter what you call it.
Please note that playing with words is the standard way lib-RATS think they can fool dumb and ignorant masses. I am sure you have been hearing "Troop Re-Deployment" from the elected lib-RATs recently when they talk about their Iraq strategy. You see they think we dumb folks will hear the word "Re-Deployment" and think OK, they are just moving things around as opposed to what they are actually be doing: CUT AND RUN. It is the same old lib-RAT bullshit.
Going back to the global warming bullshit: I have been reading the State of Fear by Michael Crichton. I have not finished it yet. It is disappointing that it is not a good novel. Characters are sketchy. Plot and action make you say: "Aww! Come On!" from time to time. But the information on the lib-RAT propaganda about global warming bullshit is interesting to say the least. I wish it was a better read.

Hoodwinked : How Intellectual Hucksters Have Hijacked American Culture by Jack Cashill.
Next time you hear perky Katie cheerfully announcing the results of a research, any other anchor rattling off some kind of statistics about something, keep in mind that the research may be based on junk science and statistics may be pure lies.

The Connection : How al Qaeda's Collaboration with Saddam Hussein Has Endangered America by Stephen F Hayes.
Isn't it amazing that current liberal democrats would rather believe a kooky conspiracy theory that there was a connection with Bush and 9/11 but vehemently oppose the idea that the Al-Qaida and Saddam was working together? They won't even accept the possibility in spite of the fact that their idol Clinton attacked a factory in Sudan based on the evidence of ties between Osama bin Laden, Sudan's Military Industrial Corporation and their connections with Iraq.
If policy makers and everyday American citizens are accurately evaluate threats in the post-9/11 age, they must understand the risks posed by terrorists...
Liberal democrats like Kerry, Gore, and Clinton think George Bush poses a bigger threat to us. Watch them and their surrogates on TV. See how angry they look. I don't think these people were that angry at Osama Bin Laden after 9/11. Some of them even tried to tell us that it was all our own making after all.
How can anyone vote for these people?

It is a disappointment! The catchphrase on the back of the book is "BIAS identified the problem. ARROGANCE offers a solution". Unfortunately, both claims are wrong. Bernard Goldberg's first book Bias: A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News made the case that media elites are biased but they don't even know it. It is just a cultural thing. Evidently Goldberg thought his book will wake these media elites up, make them be more conscious of their own biases so they can be more balanced. Well... As we all know it did not quite work that way. Now Goldberg thinks that the media elites are in denial. He thinks they are so arrogant they won't listen to any constructive criticism. He even comes up with a twelve step process just like the one AA has for their recovery.
The truth of the matter is we are not dealing with an arrogant, close-minded media that is subconsciously biased in certain issues. It is crystal clear in the examples Goldberg gives in his books. I can not believe he can not bring himself to admit this: It is a flat-out partisan media. It is a media that does more than taking sides on the issues. It is a media that pushes an agenda. It is an activist media.
I think Bernard Goldberg is the one who is in denial. He is starting to sound like an apologist for the media. He just needs to come to terms with the fact that the mainstream media has just become a propaganda machine for liberal democrats. It is not because of a cultural bias or arrogance. It is by design on purpose. It is being done under the guise of journalism.

The Mind and the Market : Capitalism in Modern European Thought
Posted by SkipD under BooksAdd comment |
Sometime around 1993 or 1994, when soviet communism was coming apart, I remember watching an interview where a university professor was asked if the Marxism was dead. This professor tried passionately to explain how the collapse of communism in Russia did not mean the Marxism was dead. After it is proven to fail time and time again, after hundreds of millions of people suffered under this utopian idea, there are still people who think Marxism and Communism or their watered down version, socialism is the way to go. You still hear socialist proposals from current democrat presidential candidates. You have liberal democrats running around blaming everything on capitalism and free markets. You have American leftists who want to gain moral high ground by trying to show the immoralities of the market.
This is a great book to read in order to understand how those ideas originated and to see why people keep repeating the same falsehoods over and over again. You will gain a very valuable historical perspective that will help you evaluate the proposals and plans coming out of democrat party's presidential candidates.
