About the Author
Brian Jennings is one of nation's top talk radio programmers who served as National V.P. of Talk Programming for Citadel Broadcasting, one of the nation's largest radio companies for over a decade and served as programming head to over 40 radio stations nationwide. According to Talker's Magazine, he is also one of the founding fathers of the conservative talk radio format. Nominated 5 times as a national talk radio executive of the year by Radio and Records Magazine, Jennings is also a national award-winning journalist. His many awards include Columbia University's DuPont Award, the National Sigma Delta Chi Award, the Ohio State Award, the National Headliners Award, the National Abe Lincoln Award, and others. He has also worked as a consultant to national personalites such as Oliver North, Michael Reagan, Alan Colmes, Dick Cavett, and others. Considered one of the foremost authorities on talk radio today, Jennings resides in the Pacific Northwest and is a frequent guest on radio and television programs throughout the nation and a staunch defender of free speech.

It is not only about silencing the talk radio folks. Liberal democRATs want to silence everyone that speaks out against their agenda of destroying the USA and the Western Civilization.

WSJ has an article about this book:

Crying Foul Over 'Fairness' by Randall BLOOMQUIST

The real threat to talk radio comes from regulators and activists who favor government control of broadcast content by other means. Most notable of these is the proposed "localism" policy now wending its way through the FCC rule-making process. Introduced in 2007 by, oddly enough, the Republican-controlled FCC headed by Bush-appointee Kevin Martin, the initiative would increase community involvement with broadcast stations and require them to provide "locally-oriented programming." An Obama FCC is likely to be even more avid: The president himself is on record as opposing the Fairness Doctrine but favoring media ownership caps and "opening up the airwaves . . . to as many diverse viewpoints as possible." In February, Michael Copps, a Democrat currently serving as acting chairman of the FCC, echoed Mr. Obama when he told CNSNews.com: "If markets cannot produce what society really cares about, like a media that reflects the true diversity and spirit of our country, then government has a legitimate role to play."

Read this again folks:

"If markets cannot produce what society really cares about, like a media that reflects the true diversity and spirit of our country, then government has a legitimate role to play."

Read it again...

"If markets cannot produce what society really cares about, like a media that reflects the true diversity and spirit of our country, then government has a legitimate role to play."

This is how liberal democRAT minds work...

"If markets cannot produce what society really cares about"

Question 1) Isn't it in the best interest of the producers to produce what the "society" -- consumers -- want? Isn't that how free markets work? If you look at a free radio market and you see conservative talk radio thriving, isn't that proof enough that the consumers want and demand it?

Question 2) I am sorry. Our liberal RAT said "society really cares about" not "demands or wants". I see... Well, I still have a question, a big one: Who determines "what society really cares about"? Really folks, if free markets where individuals act upon their preferences is not a good enough proof for what they care about then who decides "what society really cares about"?

You see, the liberal RATs always know what is good for the society and want to decide for us. They already determined that us having the freedom to tune into any radio program we like is not a good thing for the society. They will come up with a scheme to take that freedom away from us so we are forced to listen to the government approved programming. This is how RATs operate folks. They already decided that we should drive either itsy bitsy cars or ride the mass transit. We are not stupid enough to do it so Obama is taking over our car companies, turning them into government motors to produce cars he wants us to drive. He is taking our choices away. For what? For the "Good of Society". He knows what is good for the society and if you disagree with him he will find a way to silence you.

Let's keep parsing...

"like a media that reflects the true diversity and spirit of our country,"

Again, free people acting on their own individual preferences and making decisions is not acceptable and it is not diverse enough for the liberal democRAT morons. What the hell is a diversity anyways if you do not let individuals be individuals? Well, we all know what it is... Liberal democRAT play book of promoting fringe ideas and cultures into mainstream acceptance to destroy our own culture and civilization. Same idea again: RATs want to be in the position to determine what "diversity and spirit of the country" is.

What is the theme here again: RATs like Obama want to have total control over our lives. They want to have the command and control of our lives. How are they going to do it?

"then government has a legitimate role to play."

That is how they are going to do it. They will use the power of government. They already are doing it.
