Gov. Deval Patrick’s free wheels for welfare recipients program is revving up despite the stalled economy, as the keys to donated cars loaded with state-funded insurance, repairs and even AAA membership are handed out to get them to work.

Obama once plagiarized Deval Patrick. I am sure he will also copy his free cars for welfare recipients program. You see Obama took over Chrysler and GM and he is forcing them to stop making cars and trucks Americans buy. In about a year or two when the new Government Motors is fully operational and producing these itsy bitsy Fiats and Renaults, it will have a tough time selling these cars. So what will Obama do? He can obviously keep Government Motors running by subsidizing with taxpayer money but what will he do with all these cars nobody wants to buy? Why not give them away free of charge to welfare recipients? After all taxpayers are paying for the welfare payments and just like health care, personal transportation is a right that has to be delivered by government.

Don't say this is a crazy idea. What is the alternative when Government Motors can't compete with other car companies and sitting on Obama approved "green" cars nobody buying? How do you think the marxist in the oval office will react? Think...

The answer is that Obama will make life for other car companies miserable. He will impose tariffs and import restrictions. He will force the ones that have factories in the U.S. to unionize. Only Government Motors is able to manipulate the policy and markets to eliminate competition so it can sell its lower quality cars. All these jackasses who complain about the power corporations have will see what real power is.

Look at Obama's Auto Task Force who will decide the fate of GM and Chrysler:

The vehicles owned by the Obama administration's auto team could reflect one reason why Detroit's Big Three automakers are in trouble: The list includes few new American cars.

Among the eight members named Friday to the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry and the 10 senior policy aides who will assist them in their work, two own American models.

So the un-American administration's task force to save the American auto industry has members who prefer un-American cars. Any surprises there? Folks, these are the self-proclaimed smart people who will decide the future of American auto industry. Forget that... These people are going to make decisions that will profoundly affect how you and I will live in the future. Look at them:

At least two task force members don't own a car, and there are still two open slots on the 10-member panel that will be filled by the secretaries of labor and commerce, who have not yet been appointed.

Steve Rattner, the managing partner of a $6 billion New York hedge fund who will lead the Treasury Department's auto efforts, has three imports and one domestic vehicle.

He owns a 2008 Lexus LS 460 sedan, a 2007 Audi S4 convertible, a 2006 Mercedes-Benz R350 sport-utility vehicle and a 2005 Lincoln Town Car, according to public records.

The co-chairs of the task force -- Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner and White House National Economic Council Director Lawrence Summers -- both own foreign automobiles.

Geithner owns a 2008 Acura TSX, registered in New York. He once owned a 1999 Honda Accord and a 2002 Acura MDX, according to public records.

Geithner is the president's designee for purposes of enforcing loan agreements with GM and Chrysler and must approve or reject any proposed transactions by either company that would cost $100 million or more.

His maternal grandfather, Charles Moore, was a vice president at Ford Motor Co. from 1952-63, according to Peter Geithner, the secretary's father. But Geithner wasn't very interested in cars growing up -- in part because he graduated from high school in Asia, his father said.

Summers owns a 1995 Mazda Protege that's registered in Massachusetts. He previously owned a 1996 Ford Taurus GL.

What other task force members drive:

- Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag owns a 2008 Honda Odyssey and a 2004 Volvo S60. He previously owned a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 1982 Datsun.

- Carol Browner, the White House climate czar, said earlier this month at the Washington Auto Show that she doesn't own an automobile. Public records show she once owned a 1999 Saab 9-5 SE.

- Energy Secretary Steven Chu doesn't own a car, his wife, Jean Fetter, said in a telephone interview on Sunday. Cabinet officials are typically transported to and from work by security officials in government vehicles.

- Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson owns a 2008 Toyota Prius and a Honda Odyssey minivan, she said Sunday. "It's great," she said of her Prius.

- Vehicle information was not available for Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood or Christine Romer, head of the Council of Economic Advisers.

There are people on this task force who do not own a car and proud of it. If you live in anywhere in the fly-over country you damn well know that car equals freedom. These despicable elites are chauffeured in their limos and they just could not get why we do not like mass-transit.

I know there are some of us who are mad at the executives of GM and Chrysler for mismanaging their companies and don't mind these idiots losing their jobs. But folks, all the problems these companies are having are rooted in government interference in their operations. liberal democRATs destroyed our financial institutions by pressuring them to make high-risk loans to democRAT constituencies. They also destroyed our automobile industry. People like Carol Browner who does not own a car have been pushing all kinds of rules and regulations based on false premises like stupid global warming bullshit on these companies. These executives deserve all the blame for not standing up to these shysters. They still try to appease these leftists by parading their supposedly green cars that are bound to fail in the marketplace. You just cannot appease people like Browner. They want to kill the auto industry. You gotta fight them. Well. heck! Obama put people who hate American auto industry in the Auto Industry Task Force. The guy already destroyed the confidence in our markets. He will kill our auto industry. That is part of his great design folks. He and his tyrannical government is going to be the only thing left standing after all said and done. American society will be turned into a giant welfare state.

I don't know folks... We are in such a sad situation that it actually makes me laugh. Look at what is happening with this bailout of GM, Ford and Chrysler.

You know how these liberal democRATs praise each other for being highly intelligent and incredibly smart in every chance they get. These "smart" liberal RATs want to create another government bureaucracy that will oversee American automobile manufacturing. These "smart" liberal RATs had no problem giving almost a trillion dollars to banks and financial institutions like Citibank but they want to nationalize the auto industry for $15 billion.

What the hell is a long-term viability plan they want to see these auto manufacturers produce anyways? Look at the stupid restrictions they put on them: Don't fight the state greenhouse gas emission standards, don't have a compensation plan to attract the talent, dump corporate jets... These corporations do business worldwide and there is a reason they have corporate jets. Forcing them to dump these jets is nothing more than a symbolic idiocy on the part of these "smart" RATs. Why don't we make the congressmen and senators travel the way Benjamin Franklin used to?

Well, I do think the CEOs of these auto companies have no courage. Why are they surrendering their corporations to a government take-over? Where are the Republicans? Where is the Republican leadership?

Folks, while all this Detroit-3 bailout drama was unfolding, do you realize that there already is $25 billion set aside for these companies? This $15 billion is not new money. It is coming out of the $25 billion previously reserved. GM, Ford and Chrysler could not use that $25 billion because it was to be used to build fuel-efficient hybrids and electric cars. Bush administration asked congress to lift these restrictions and let the manufacturers use that money for their immediate need. Guess what? "Smart" RATs would not do it. So you got $25 billion sitting there and democRATs will not use that money to save American Auto industry and make these CEOs hop through bunch of hoops and beg for money. They will not use the money to save the auto industry because that money was to be used in accordance with global-warming wackos' wishes. Do you realize that nothing will make global-warming wackos happier than killing the auto industry? Now the democRATs agree to use $15 billion of $25 billion that is already available and they attach all these rules to make sure auto industry suffers a slow but a sure death. They just want to hand the noose and ask these CEOs to hang themselves. Anyone of these CEOs who agrees to this deal is an idiot. Well, they pretty much proved themselves to be idiots as playing along with the idiot RATs in the congress anyways and I think they deserve to get what is coming their way.

You see folks, back in 2003 here is what I wrote:

Nationalize the automobile industry. Automobile industry is producing gas guzzling, terrorist funding, tree killing, unsafe, unaffordable vehicles. It is exporting American jobs. Government should take over all automobile factories. United Auto Workers should be classified as federal employees. All the auto dealerships around the country should be closed to put an end to their unfair practices. Importation of automobiles should be banned. After an extensive bureaucratic research, government will start producing a gas efficient, practical, and safe car for the citizens. Since there won't be any dealerships, everyone except the rich will pay the same price for each vehicle. Rich will need to pay an extra surcharge so we can provide poor of this country with free cars or free mass transit. Vehicles need to be ordered direct from the factory. Since all the vehicles will be standard issue there won't be any confusion in choosing style, options, or colors. No personal selections will be allowed. Due to strict governmental standards delivery of your vehicle may take a little longer than a year from the date it is ordered. It is a small sacrifice to make. Government will continue to produce a small batch of SUVs, big trucks, fast sport cars for designated government officials, representatives, senators, certain newspaper editors, movie industry, some executives of certain companies. Allocation of these vehicles will be based on national security considerations, campaign contributions...

Ideas for Democratic Presidential Candidates

I was having a little fun and being a little sarcastic. I can't believe it is actually happening now. This is exactly where we are headed. You see, the billions will not save the auto industry as long as it is owned by government, regulated and ruled by bureaucrats and politicians. What do you think is the "smart" RATs' next step when Detroit-3 still fails while producing so-called green hybrids and electric cars no American wants to buy? You guessed it right if you said that the government will restrict competition and force citizens to buy government approved cars. No corporation regardless of its size has that kind of power but your government under total control of the supreme leader Obama and "smart" RATs in congress can actually do that. Hey, I now understand that there are ultra-liberal leftist democRATs who actually fantasize about making what I wrote 5 years ago a reality. And I thought I was being sarcastic...
