I wrote about how Michelle Obama's pitch to the IOC failed to deliver.

Michelle Obama's me, me, me and me speech obviously was not helpful.

What about her international celebrity, rock star, magnificient husband who knows a thing or two about "change"?

No, no... I am not going to talk about his speech although it is part of it. The real question is why the President of The United States is so clueless. I mean this was a diplomatic mission. Liberal democRATs always tell us how good they are in diplomacy and how they will solve the world's problems by diplomacy without costly wars. Here our "brilliant" president is tested on a very simple diplomatic mission and failed miserably. Folks, Chicago got the lowest vote and eliminated in the first round. Now, that is humiliating when you have the POTUS and the FLOTUS making personal appeals.

As their propagandists in the media, the POTUS and his delegation were shocked and stunned by the result. It is just another indication that these people are clueless.

Even their excuses do not make sense:

"Obviously, it was disappointing, we wanted Chicago to get this," the president's senior political advisor David Axelrod told CNN.

"I don't view this as a repudiation of the president or the first lady; there are politics everywhere and there are politics inside that room."

Axelrod suggested that Obama's effort had fallen prey to internal Olympic movement politics.

"I am not suggesting anything nefarious, there is a process here, intensive lobbying that goes on for months and months and months."

Then why weren't you guys better prepared Mr. Axelrod? Why did you make a fool out of the POTUS?

Really folks, why weren't they more effective in their lobbying?

The answer is simple: The huge ego of Obama. He thought he can convince the IOC with one speech. He thought his mere presence will change minds.

Now this was a fairly small diplomatic failure. but Obama thinks the same way when he is dealing with Iran, North Korea and the rest of the world. His narcissism in dealing with the IOC cost Chicago the olympics. His narcissism in dealing with Iran may cost us lives in the future.

First of all Chicago did not fail. Obamas failed. They made this about themselves. Michelle Obama and her wonderful husband "who knows a little something about change" own this monumental failure.

It is all about me Michelle Obama, me First Lady, me Chicagoan, my daughters, my dad, my husband.

Really Michelle, why should we vote for Chicago again?

This is supposed to be a pitch and she was supposed to tell them what is in it for the IOC and the rest of the world!

Instead she kept saying me, me, me and my daughters, may dad and my husband.

To add insult to injury, this is what she said:

Chicago's vision for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement is about so more than what we can offer the Games -- it's about what the Games can offer all of us. It's about inspiring this generation, and building a lasting legacy for the next. It's about our responsibility as Americans not just to put on great Games, but to use these Games as a vehicle to bring us together; to usher in a new era of international engagement; and to give us hope; and to change lives all over the world.

WTF? What the hell does this mean? It is all about her and her husband and she takes a swipe at her own country in the process.

No wonder they eliminated Chicago in the first round. I am surprised that they did not stand up and say "forget it" right after this speech.

He compares Obama to a matinee idol who "look pretty and inveigle softly with practiced seductiveness". That's exactly who Americans elected as their president: An empty suit with a huge ego who inveigled his way to the oval office. Obama is an empty suit with no real life experience who thinks he can solve world's problems by giving speeches. He thinks he can convince suicidal terrorists who are committed to killing as many westerners as they can to give up their ways if only he can look them in the eye and talk with them. He is an absolute retard! He is only interested in himself and his own power. He profusely apologizes for the nation he supposedly leads and represents while claiming to transform it.

This empty suit, who declared the war in Iraq as a lost cause while demanding that we should focus all our energy and effort on Afghanistan, has not had a conversation with the General in charge for over two month. He wanted to suppress the additional troop requests necessary to win the war. Heck!, he won't even use the terms "winning" or "victory" when it comes to fighting the terrorists who want to use weapons of mass destruction to kill as many as Americans. Instead of helping us win the war he chose to lobby International Olympic Committee to bring Olympics to his city where his cronies can get rich. I am sure he will celebrate his "winning" and "victory" if he succeeds in getting Chicago picked as the next Olympic City.

We have a weak and naive president who is comfortable being a celebrity making speeches and headlining TV shows. When it comes to real world, Obama votes "present".
