Above is a direct quote from the "Cash for Clunkers" law. Passed by the congress, signed by the President of The United States of America.

It says:

"no longer than 10 days after the submission of information supporting the eligible transaction,"

Today's news:

A Transportation official says more than 15 percent of the submissions from dealers have been approved. The car rebate program ended on Aug. 24 and dealers have complained that the government has been slow to reimburse them for the incentives of up to $4,500 per vehicle. The official said that all eligible and completed dealer submissions should be fully paid by Sept. 30.

We know the people who supposedly write these laws do not read them before voting for them. Now we also know that the government agencies that are tasked to administer these laws either do not read them or disregard the portions of them as they please.

You see folks, dealers will be audited and penalized if they violate any part of this law but the government can ignore any part of it without penalty.

You will be hounded by the IRS if you make a simple mistake in your tax return but Charlie Rangel will be given a pass.

All these government-run anything zealots, take note: Unless you are part of the ruling class, you will be subject to all the rules, regulations that are devised by all-too-powerful government. Do you really want to be footnotes for the grand schemes of the arrogant, elitist ruling class of SOBs?

Yeah, the dear leader who fancies himself to solve all problems by making speeches will give another speech laying his government-run health care scheme out in understandable, clear terms so the stupid, ignorant masses of public can understand.

Congressman Rangel has been arrogant in refusing to discuss how, as the man who writes this country's tax laws, he failed to report over $1 million in outside income and $3 million in business transactions as required by the House, lapses under investigation by the House Ethics Committee.

"I recognize that all of you have an obligation to ask questions knowing that there's none of you smart enough to frame it in such a way that I'm going to respond," Rangel said.

We are not smart enough to frame a question in a way that Congressman Rangel finds it worthwhile to answer.

Think about it for a minute...

This is the guy who writes the tax code. The same tax code, if you and I fail to comply, that may land us in jail.

The questions he thinks we are not smart enough to formulate is about his evation of tax code he wrote.

This guy will be re-elected and will keep writing tax codes he will keep cheating. all this thanks to the the supreme idiocy of democRAT voters.

Liberal democRATs do have a point in thinking we all are stupid idiots... At least, quite a few of us who keep voting for these arrogant SOBs are stupid!
