Look at this guy. Scary, isn't he? Why is he so mad?

This is the face of the unions in the USA Today. Especially unions of government employees. They couldn't care less about the economy, recession or anything else. They want their money, their raises, their benefits untouched. Obama and RATs talk about the greed of capitalists. What about the greed of these people? SEIU is getting Obama to hold State of California's stimulus funds hostage over wage cuts. These people get paid by tax payer money and attack tax payers. What about the job they have been doing? Half the students in this district drop out folks. Nice job teachers.

Just take a look at these photos here. Some of these people don't even look like teachers to me.

Why are they protesting?

The union wants all the available money used this year, and only for teachers' salaries. Schools would not have the flexibility to use it for anything else; that would keep class sizes from rising. If more cuts are needed next year, union leaders propose the district raise money by asking voters to approve a parcel tax.

Is all this really for the children?

Pure greed seems to me...

Californians, aren't you tired of sobbing teachers? Aren't you tired of them using your children to extract more money from you? Aren't you tired of watching their TV commercials, listening to their radio commercials asking you to vote for more handouts? Aren't you tired of paying extra sales taxes, parcel taxes to support the teacher unions? They still are not satisfied folks. They want more and more... What are you getting in exchange? Are you happy with your kids' education? Don't look at his grades. Grade inflation is another sneaky attempt by teachers to hide their incompetence. Your HS student in California is tested on seventh grade level to be able to graduate from HS. That's probably the level he is graduating anyways. Sad...
