“You mentioned Rashid Khalidi, who’s a professor at Columbia," Obama said. "I do know him because I taught at the University of Chicago. And he is Palestinian. And I do know him and I have had conversations. He is not one of my advisors; he’s not one of my foreign policy people. His kids went to the Lab school where my kids go as well. He is a respected scholar, although he vehemently disagrees with a lot of Israel’s policy.”
“To pluck out one person who I know and who I’ve had a conversation with who has very different views than 900 of my friends and then to suggest that somehow that shows that maybe I’m not sufficiently pro-Israel, I think, is a very problematic stand to take," he said. "So we gotta be careful about guilt by association.”
I guess we'll find out the extend of your friendship when the partisan media releases the tape after you lose the election.
What a neighbourhood this guy lives by the way:
What about his kids school?
Obama escorted ..., through a side door of the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools this morning, according to a pool report distributed by the campaign.
Wearing a White Sox cap, gym clothes and sneakers, Obama walked between his daughters holding each girl’s hand...
The ivy covered Gothic-style private school founded in 1896 by John Dewey has more than 1,700 students and costs roughly $20,000 per student per academic year.
So the ONE, who will save us sends his kids to a private school for $40,000 / year. No wonder he was mocking how much the plumbers make.
It would not be a big deal if only he was not so adamantly opposed to school vouchers. He wants Americans to have the choice to kill their unborn babies, maybe even the born ones that survive abortion; but he does not want Americans to have the choice to send their kids to a school of their choice.
This must be the Change you can be fooled into.
