The Van Jones (non) feeding frenzy
Keep in mind that the blogosphere was buzzing with Obama's Green Czar's past which led to his resignation.
This guy was one of the biggest leftist kooks we have ever seen and he was in the White House advising the POTUS.
We all know what would happened if Bush had a close adviser with half the kooky past this guy has.
Now let's turn to the reaction of our media icons to this Van Jones story... Tom Brokaw and Thomas Friedman, two media icons, trusted journalists had these to say on Meet The Press:
MR. BROKAW: Well, I've--one of the things I've been saying to audiences is this question comes up a lot, and a lot of people will repeat back to me and take it as face value something that they read on the Internet. And my line to them is you have to vet information. You have to test it the same way you do when you buy an automobile or when you go and buy a new flat-screen television. You read the Consumer Reports, you have an idea of what it's worth and what the lasting value of it is. You have to do the same thing with information because there is so much disinformation out there that it's frightening, frankly, in a free society that depends on information to make informed decisions. And this is across the board, by the way. It's not just one side of the political spectrum or the other. It is across the board, David, and it's something that we all have to address and it requires society and political and cultural leaders to stand up and say, "this is crazy." We just can't function that way.
MR. FRIEDMAN: You know, David, I just want to say one thing to pick up on Tom's point, which is the Internet is an open sewer of untreated, unfiltered information, left, right, center, up, down, and requires that kind of filtering by anyone. And I always felt, you know, when modems first came out, when that was how we got connected to the Internet, that every modem sold in America should actually come with a warning from the surgeon general that would have said, "judgment not included," OK? That you have to upload the old-fashioned way. Church, synagogue, temple, mosque, teachers, schools, you know. And too often now people say, and we've all heard it, "But I read it on the Internet," as if that solves the bar bet, you know? And I'm afraid not.
These are the sad excuses for journalists in our country. Like Rush has been saying, Obama is their Waterloo.
Tom Brokaw advises us to vet information we get from internet because there is so much disinformation out there. Yeah we should trust the investigative news reports like Dan Rather's fabrications about Bush's service in the National Guard. Sure the Holy News Media should be the ultimate arbitrator of what we hear and see. What was to be vetted in the Van Jones scandal Mr. Brokaw? We were able to read, watch and hear what the guy himself had said. It wasn't fabricated documents. You guys making fun of birthers every chance you get but you are silent when it comes to the 9-11 truthers. Why? What part of the information about Van Jones you guys did not report was disinformation? Why did he resign if it all was made-up? Why didn't Obama the Messiah intervened and saved him from all these baseless attacks?
Thomas Friedman calls internet the "open sewer of untreated, unfiltered information". Forget about the fact that this guy works for a newspaper that belongs in the sewer, focus on what they are trying to say: Don't trust the news and information you find on the internet. Trust us the media. These people would be enthusiastic supporters of any regulation or censorship of online blogs. Don't be surprised folks.
Tom Brokaw, respected phony journalist says: "You have to test it the same way you do when you buy an automobile or when you go and buy a new flat-screen television. You read the Consumer Reports, you have an idea of what it's worth and what the lasting value of it is..." Where do most people go to do research before they buy a car or any other big ticket item? Internet of course! Well, it is pretty clear Mr. Brokaw is not concerned about disinformation that exists online about buying a car or a flat-screen television but he'd like to have the political news and views available online either restricted, regulated or at the least mistrusted. Why? Because this dinosaur of the old propagandist media wants to hold the monopoly in news and views dissemination. Tom Brokaw and Thomas Friedman, like many of their colleagues in the phony media, want the power to control what news and views reaches to us dumb folk so we don't get no wrong ideas.
Thanks but no thanks...
Puppet Masters
Valerie Jarrett, RahmBO, and RAT Axelrod... These are the people pulling the strings? I don't know. It is just one of these theories.
During the fall campaign, Mr. Obama’s aides – usually David Axelrod, the media strategist, and David Plouffe, the campaign manager – spent considerable time on the phone with Mr. Biden and his staff over remarks that they had deemed unhelpful. Mr. Biden listened and saluted smartly.
“He was a good soldier,” said Senator Ted Kaufman, Democrat of Delaware, who had been Mr. Biden’s Senate chief of staff before being appointed to his old boss’s seat. “But I sat with him. That was hard, that was hard. He has all these ideas.”
Mr. Biden’s public statements and appearances have been closely monitored inside the administration, and at times fretted over. “Like every single human being, his strength is his weakness, his weakness is his strength,” said Mr. Axelrod, now Mr. Obama’s senior adviser at the White House. “I think the strength outweighs the weakness to a large degree. And it’s all related to someone who speaks his mind and is forthright.”
Mr. Biden has taken steps to rein himself in – or others have insisted on it. He has begun to use a teleprompter more. He often uses note cards to stay focused while presiding over meetings. He has given few interviews since Election Day, and those have focused mainly on discrete policy topics.
Speaking Freely, Biden Finds Influential Role - NYT
"He has begun to use a teleprompter more."
Read that again folks: "He has begun to use a teleprompter more." Then read the headline of NYT: "Speaking Freely, Biden Finds Influential Role".
Isn't this surreal? Another sign that we are living under a tyranny with the media acting as "ministry of truth". It is very clear that the puppet masters do not like Biden "speaking freely" and the buffoon VP has no "influential role" in this administration.
Second, there is a clue into this administration in this story: "Teleprompter". You see they are forcing Biden to use teleprompter which means they want him to repeat what they put on the teleprompter. I guarantee you Biden has no input on what will appear on teleprompter. He is just expected to be a "good soldier" and repeat what the puppet masters put on the teleprompter. If this was happening to any cabinet member, forget the VP, in Bush administration these phony journalists would be outraged. But there is one more person in this administration who is not allowed go anywhere without the teleprompter: Barack Hussein Obama, our first black president. Is he a puppet master who just needs the help of the teleprompter to remember what to say or is he a puppet who is reading the stuff off the teleprompter as directed by the puppet masters?
I don't know and I don't care. All I know is that these people are destroying this country and we need people with balls to stand up to these people. We need politicians, CEOs and public figures who can speak the truth and expose these frauds. We don't need wimps like Wagoner and other bank CEOs who are kissing the hand that will cut their heads off when given a chance. Man up people!
We Have Phony Media to Thank For This
But the country does not deserve to be put in the hands of a glib and cocky know-it-all, who has accomplished absolutely nothing beyond the advancement of his own career with rhetoric, and who has for years allied himself with a succession of people who have openly expressed their hatred of America.
Do Facts Matter? by Thomas Sowell
We no longer have journalists in this country. We have liberal activist partisans who masquerade as journalists. They are the official liberal democRAT propaganda machine. Yes, Mr. Sowell, facts do not matter to propagandists. Why can't we get over this? There is no such thing as an impartial journalist who work diligently to get the facts out and to inform the public. It is not an inherent, subconscious bias. It is not arrogance. It is a flat-out calculated strategy on the part of these partisan hacks who pass themselves as journalists.
We do not have a main-stream media. We do not have a drive-by media as Rush Limbaugh calls them. We do have a phony media that works as a propaganda machine for liberal democRATs. Stop complaining and keep exposing them for who they are.
